January 1, 2017 — Mitch Randall joined PureGen Power, formerly known as Entelek Power, as chief administrative officer, general counsel and co-founder. PureGen Power brings together technology, talent and capital to acquire and improve solar power plants.

He previously served as president of Recurrent Energy, where led the development, financing and construction of utility-scale solar projects.
August 1, 2016 — Bob Leah joined PureGen Power, formerly known as Entelek Power, as chief operating officer and co-founder. PureGen Power purchases solar plants and optimizes their performance, profitability and value.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to improve the efficiency of solar power plant operations, helping to make clean power affordable to everyone,” Leah said. In his previous roles as vice president, development at Recurrent Energy and vice president, business development at UPC Solar, Leah managed all phases of development for large-scale solar projects.
June 3, 2016 — David Brochu, CEO and founder of PureGen Power, formerly known as Entelek Power, participated in a panel discussion on “Financing Utility-Scale Solar in Alberta and Saskatchewan.” The presentation, which focused on the market challenges, key developments and innovative finance models, was part of the two-day Alberta & Saskatchewan Renewable Energy Finance Summit held in Calgary June 2-3.
Organized by Canadian Clean Energy Conferences, the event connected key government and system operator representatives with renewables lenders, developers and suppliers for critical market updates.
April 28, 2016 — David Brochu establishes Entelek Power, LLC (now PureGen Power, LLC) and becomes its first CEO. Brochu envisions the company as a foundation for creating the assets needed to generate, store, and distribute clean power in North America, with initial focus on the acquisition and improvement of operating solar power plants.
“We believe that 100% clean power is possible in our lifetime,” Brochu said. Before founding PureGen Power, Brochu led the development, construction and operation of global solar projects as CEO of Recurrent Energy and president and CEO of UPC Solar.
