January 1, 2017 — Mitch Randall joined PureGen Power, formerly known as Entelek Power, as chief administrative officer, general counsel and co-founder. PureGen Power brings together technology, talent and capital to acquire and improve solar power plants.
“I’m looking forward to working with this highly experienced leadership team to deliver value through improving performance of clean power plants,” Randall said. He previously served as president of Recurrent Energy, where he led the development, financing and construction of utility-scale solar projects.
June 3, 2016 — David Brochu, CEO and founder of PureGen Power, formerly known as Entelek Power, participated in a panel discussion on “Financing Utility-Scale Solar in Alberta and Saskatchewan.” The presentation, which focused on the market challenges, key developments and innovative finance models, was part of the two-day Alberta and Saskatchewan Renewable Energy Finance Summit held in Calgary, June 2–3.
Organized by Canadian Clean Energy Conferences, the event connected key government and system operator representatives with renewables lenders, developers and suppliers for critical market updates.
April 28, 2016 — David Brochu establishes Entelek Power, LLC (now PureGen Power, LLC), and becomes its first CEO. Brochu envisions the company as a foundation for creating the assets needed to generate, store and distribute clean power in North America, with initial focus on the acquisition and improvement of operating solar power plants.
“We believe that 100% clean power is possible in our lifetime,” Brochu said. Before founding PureGen Power, Brochu led the development, construction and operation of global solar projects as CEO of Recurrent Energy and president and CEO of UPC Solar.
