Chief Executive Officer
Before founding PureGen Power, David led the development, construction and operation of thousands of MW of solar projects and billions of dollars of profitable investment as CEO of Recurrent Energy and President and CEO of UPC Solar. He earned an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS from Texas A&M University.

President & Chief Legal Officer
Prior to co-founding PureGen Power, Mitch previously served as President of Recurrent Energy, where he led the development, financing and construction of utility-scale solar projects. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and a BS from the University of Colorado.
Our team is laser-focused on maximizing solar power plant production and value. With improvements in technology and continuing cost declines, solar will continue to become more competitive.
Senior Vice President, Origination & Acquisitions
André has more than 15 years of renewable energy and finance experience. He previously served as Senior Vice President at Recurrent Energy, where he developed over 500 MW of operating solar projects and led all strategic development activities. Prior to Recurrent Energy, André was Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Securities, where he worked with Fortune 500 companies on debt financings. He earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Vice President, Asset Management
Velvet has extensive asset management experience in the renewable energy sector. She previously served as Director, Asset Management for Recurrent Energy, as well as working for GCL Solar, Pacific Gas & Electric Company and Fotowatio Renewable Ventures. She holds an MBA and MS in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco.
I look forward to working with PureGen’s talented team to maximize investor returns by optimizing asset performance, reducing operating costs and implementing innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Vice President, Finance
Prior to joining PureGen Power, Jim served as Senior Manager, Project Finance, at Recurrent Energy and Senior Analyst at Viseon Energy. He earned an MS in Operations Research from Florida Institute of Technology, an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BA in Economics from Ripon College.

Vice President, Engineering
Trevor has more than a decade of experience optimizing design and providing strategy using economics-based engineering approaches to over 5 GW of clean power plants. He previously served as Director, Engineering at Recurrent Energy and has also worked at Black c Veatch, Sargent & Lundy and American Electric Power. He holds an Executive MBA from Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, a BS in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and California.
